首頁部落格分類Jonathan的課程英文字彙片語"手機" 到底是 cell phone, mobile phone, 還是 hand phone?Teacher SammyApril 29, 2011 1 min相信大部份的人都聽過 cell phone 和 mobile phone 這兩個說法 cell phone 是在使用美式英文的國家比較常聽到的說法 而 mobile phone 則是在使用英式英文的國家較常用的說法 至於 hand phone 則只有在少數東南亞國家才會這樣講, 像新加坡 它其實是當地人自己發明的講法, 不是正確的英文 只是在東南亞一些會講英文的國家流傳開來以後, 那邊有很多人都這樣講 但各位記得, 在跟西方人講英文時, 還是用 cell phone 或 mobile phone 才對 另外, 很多人會把 cell phone 寫成一個字 cellphone, 其實也是不正確的 因為它本來應該是 cellular phone 這兩個字 cellular 指的是電信訊號傳送的原理 並不像 telephone 這樣, 是由 tele 這個表示 ”透過遠距離的” 的字加上 phone 形成的 cell 也不能像 tele 一樣, 放在別的字前面形成不同的字 (比如 television, telegraph) 所以還是應該是兩個字 cell phone https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mobile_phone https://dictionary.reference.com/browse/cell+phone Tags#EnglishVocabulary#CommonMistakesPersonalized One-on-One Online English Classes for Adults!Want to improve your English but don’t have time for traditional classes?
